Coast Mountain College, Prince Rupert Campus to offer First People's Drum Making workshop

This week marks the first week of class for the Winter semester at Coast Mountain College in Prince Rupert and across Northwestern BC.

And as the new year begins, the college is presenting a unique workshop opportunity this month, which  will offer up the chance to learn how to create a First People's Traditional Drum, with three days set aside for one hour sessions each through to February for the instruction period for those with an interest.

The workshop is hosted by area Indigenous knowledge keepers with the first of the sessions to begin January 18th, ending on February 1.
