A chance for community organizations and projects to tap into the Prince Rupert Port Authority's Community Investment Fund comes up in just over a week, with the PRPA set to open the Application period for those interested in applying for funding through their program.
The Program which started in 2009 has provided more than fifteen million dollars to groups and organizations in Prince Rupert and across the Northwest supporting a range of projects and initiatives.
Some of the areas which have seen funding boosts from the PRPA in the past include:
Proposals for projects that benefit recreation, arts & culture, education, and health
As part of this year's program launch, the PRPA is hosting a virtual information session on January 12th that will take would be applicants and those interest in learning more about the program through the process of application.
