Comedy breaks the ice for the Lester Centre showbills for 2023 with two good shows set for the month January |
For those suffering a post holiday hangover of sorts, the Lester Centre is here with the cure for any doldrums, with two shots of Comedy to resuscitate your spirits as we face a brand new year.
The month of laughs kicks off next week with a Tuesday performance of the Snowed In Comedy Tour, which hits the stage at 7:30 on January 10th.
The quartet of comedians, Dan Quinn, Pete Zedlacher, Erica Sigurdson, and Paul Myrehaug make the trek to Prince Rupert to help the Lester Centre launch what is shaping up to be a busy 2023 calendar.
A year set to feature performances from across Canada and beyond, to local performances showcasing the vast amount of talent on the North Coast.
The Snowed in Tour stop in Prince Rupert marks the fourth stop of the year on their travel agenda, with shows also set for Terrace on the 11th and Smithers on January 12th
Later this month and just in time for Robbie Burns Day, the Lester Centre will showcase God is a Scottish Drag Queen, an award winning stage presentation from Canadian comedian Mike Delamont.
The Show which was a hit along the comedy festival tour in 2022, stops in at the Lester Centre on January 19th for a 7:30 PM curtain call.
There's a few samples of the show available through YouTube to give you a snapshot of what's ahead come mid January.
