| Prince Rupert's skaters are in Smithers for the weekend as part of Kla How Ya 2023 |
Prince Rupert's talented young skaters are set to show their stuff today in Smithers as the members of the Prince Rupert Skating Club take part in the annual Kla How Ya competition, one of the key skating events on the Northwest calendar.
The three day competition is taking place at the Smithers Civic Centre, with a strong contingent of the Prince Rupert club set to take to the ice.
They join a large group from across Northern BC that have made their way to Smithers for this years event.
The Skating Club's social media page has been following their training over the last few weeks in the lead up to Kla How Ya, which you can check out here.
Should you be in Smithers over the weekend, you can check the competition schedule here, to see when the Prince Rupert skaters are on the ice and stop in and cheer them on.
Once they make their return from the Bulkley Valley, club members will turn their attention to their Holiday showcase, that event set for Wednesday December 13th at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre
