| The First rock of Bonspiel season will be tossed on Saturday morning as the Prince Rupert Curling Club hosts the 2024 Sturling Bonspiel |
The first Bonspiel of 2024 will get underway early Saturday morning, with 22 teams registered to take place in the Stirling Bonspiel, the competition one that features teams of Two curlers who will have at least three games guaranteed on the ice at the Seal Cove Facility.
Play gets underway at 8AM with the Dinner catered by Arabisk to follow at 6:30 PM
The event has been a popular addition to the Curling Club's schedule and serves as a good introductory path for would be curlers to explore the sport and the social activities that Seal Cove Club provides to the community.
The event also has attracted some familiar names on the local curling scene, ready to roar their rocks down the pebbled ice tomorrow.
