The 2024 arts season calls in a marquee attraction to get us through the January post Holiday blues, with Alex Cuba in town Saturday night, the Juno and Grammy winning musical Artist set to bring his creative spirit to the Lester Stage with a show time of 7 PM for the January 20th event.
The musical giant who remains based in the Bulkley Valley is just one of a number of big events ahead for the Prince Rupert Arts scene this winter and spring.
Also destined for the Lester Centre stage Octopus with a world music beat honed from their Quebecois roots here for a February 8th show, the highly acclaimed Ballet Kelowna in town at the end of March.
Prince Rupert's theatre community presents The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, the abridged version on April 19th, while May brings in an experience of light and dinosaurs, in Light Wire Theatre's Dino-Light.
May also sees the annual Ring System Showcase Rock Stock take to the Lester stage on May 25th and the local dance community showcase from the Dance Academy of Prince Rupert is planned for June 15 and 16.

The Lester Centre is also highlighting how becoming a member of the Arts Centre Society can bring benefits to those who support the community facility.
