For their next Coastal Conversation, the North Coast Ecology Centre Society is going to take flight, providing a look at the Ridley Island Bat monitoring program.
Brody Haugen and Caitlin Smith will be providing some background to the Bat Monitoring program that was initiated by the Prince Rupert Port Authority, the project one to address concerns over increased development on the Island and any impact on the different species of bats found there.
You can find out more about the program as part of the seminar, it takes place Monday night at the Port Interpretive Centre in the Atlin Terminal at Cow Bay, things get underway at 7:30 PM
Organizers note that they hope to have a video link available for those who can't make the session in person.
Monday night's presentation is the second of the Coastal Conversations program for 2023-24.
