Shames Mountains and My Mountain Co-op are adding some important information sharing to go with your weekend of hitting the slopes on the North Coast, with the ski resort hosing an Avalanche Awareness Weekend.
Shames is working with Unbound Gear & Apparel and Arc'teryx as part of the three day event which starts tonight.
Among some of the activities, there is a chance to check out the latest in gear for backcountry enthusiasts, a film presentation and a Social in Terrace on Saturday, as well as some practical activities on the slopes on the Sunday
