While the morning has been a most enjoyable spring like experience for residents of Prince Rupert and area, there is a change due to come with some extensive rainfall expected from this evening on into next week.
As a result, the River Forecast Centre has added the North Coast to the lengthy list of advisories of the potential for high streamflows for the region.
The High Stream Advisory is one of two alerts issued for the region today, Environment Canada has also issued a Wind Warning for the North Coast and Haida Gwaii, with winds tonight and overnight expected to reach 110 km/h.
