BC Ferries increases sailing options for All Native Tournament period

A busy two weeks are ahead for the Northern Expedition
as BC Ferries expands the sailings for the Prince Rupert
to Haida Gwaii service to help move players and
fans of this years ANBT


For many participants, the Road to the All Native Basketball Tournament in Prince Rupert comes by way of BC Ferries and as this years tournament edges closer to the start, the Ferry Service has outlined its expanded sailing program set to run from February 7 to February 20.

In a Service Notice released on Friday, BC Ferries notes that heavy traffic is anticipated for the run between Prince Rupert and Skidegate recommending customer book their reservations at 1-888-BC Ferry (223-3779)

The Schedule starting this coming Saturday sees five East and Westbound sailings in place to bring teams and their followers from Haida Gwaii to Prince Rupert for the 60th edition of the ANBT.

The Regular Winter schedule will resume as of February 21st.

Those travelling or connecting from Vancouver Island or the Central Coast will also want to make note of this schedule which outlines the travel plans during ANBT for those routes.
