The doors to the Salvation Army's Greenville Court home will swing open tomorrow, as officials offer opportunity for the community to come explore their new kitchen facilities.
The recently renovated site making for a key element to their local food program which serves many community members who are in need.
As we outlined back in February, with the work now complete, all of the Salvation Army's food programs are now back under one roof that after an extensive renovation program which saw more than 1.15 million dollars in upgrades put in place.
Forty percent of that total came through funding from the Prince Rupert Port Authority's Community investment fund.
Tomorrow's open house is also a luncheon as part of their Soup for the Soul project.
With all members of the Community invited to stop in from 11AM to 1:30 PM, the Salvation Army is located at 25 Greenville Court just beside the Senior's Centre and adjacent to Coast Mountain College.
