It's a change that most will only notice if they hold stock in the company, or get business mail from it, but Pinnacle Renewable Holdings has rolled out a name change for 2019, with the producer of wood energy pellets to now be known as Pinnacle Renewable Energy.
The new name was launched on January 4th and reflects the growing footprint that the company is presenting in the Global renewable energy market.
Pinnacle currently has eight wood production facilities in operation in Western Canada, with Northwest facilities found in Burns Lake, Houston and Smithers.
Much of their product is shipped through the Port of Prince Rupert heading to global markets from
their Westview terminal on the city's west side waterfront.
Pinnacle Renewable Energy is developing a growing presence in Northwest British Columbia, with three production facilities and Prince Rupert's Westview Export Terminal(ma[ from Pinnacle Energy) |
They also operate a pellet facility in Alabama which gives them a wider international presence.
In November, the Smithers facility went into production, delivering product for export through the Prince Rupert terminal.
Late last year, Pinnacle noted that 2019 was destined to be a good year for exports for their product with their new production facilities set to deliver an increase of up to 56 percent more capacity this year.
