Harbour Theatre's Dessert Theatre part of Sugar Shack weekend for Prince Rupert

Harbour theatre gets into the spirit of the Sugar Shack on Friday night

The week of events leading up to Saturday's Sugar Shack at the Civic Centre is already underway and tomorrow night, members of Prince Rupert's Harbour Theatre take to the stage with Dessert Theatre an evening of music, skits and tempting desserts all on hand to help with the celebration of everything French Canadian.

The play which while mostly English will feature a few turns of the tongue of the langue française and serves as the Centre piece of the evening at the Tom Rooney Playhouse on Third Avenue West.

Mermaid Cafe will also be on hand for the musical interludes for the night, which will also see some prizes awarded for those in attendance.

Showtime time is 8PM at the Playhouse, with tickets at 15 dollars each available at Homework in Cow Bay or at the door at the Tom Rooney.

The event does feature some adult themes and is listed as PG 13 not suitable for children
