From Prince Rupert to County Kerry in Ireland; Coast Mountain College options open a door to Europe

Long Distance Education gets a whole new look with a recent
agreement between Coast Mountain College and IT Tralee
in County Kerry Ireland

The latest of destinations that Coast Mountain College students can explore could take you across the Atlantic Ocean to the Republic of Ireland, with Coast Mountain joining the College of New Caledonia in a recently signed agreement with the Institute of Technology Tralee.

The Irish college which features two campus locations in Tralee located in County Kerry in Southwest Ireland, offers Coast Mountain students a chance to finish their education with a final year of studies in Ireland, which provides for a window into the European Community as well.

The programs that are offering the chance for foreign travel included the highly regarded Coast Mountain Culinary program, as well as two Child care options that are offered in the Northwest.

The announcement of the program which you can review here, outlines how the process works for those looking to add some international flavour to their post-secondary education experiences.

Students who study Early Childhood Care Education at CMTN, Early Childhood Care and Learning at CNC and Professional Cook at both CMTN and CNC are eligible to complete their IT Tralee degree in as little as eight months.

Students who complete the Professional Cook 3 program in British Columbia can finish their Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts degree in two terms.

Students who complete their Early Childhood Care and Education Diploma in British Columbia can finish their Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Care and Education in two terms while students with an Early Childhood Care Certificate can complete the Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Care and Education in four terms.

Coast Mountain College President Ken Burt observed as to the opportunities that the new agreement will provide for students across the Northwest.

“Our goal is to allow our students to start here in British Columbia and go on to work or study anywhere in the world ...  This opportunity will enable our students to study at a world class institute while finishing their credentials in one year.”

Coast Mountain College students looking to find out more information about the program should contact their educational advisers at any of the regional campus locations.

You can explore what the IT Tralee campus locations and programs have to offer here.

The latest arrangement with the Irish college is part of a similar list of agreements, with the remainder of the opportunities to be found through Park University in the United States.
