Port of Prince Rupert seeks members for Community Information Forum process

The main offices of the Port of Prince Rupert, the Port is currently
seeking new members for their Community Information Forum

A chance to become involved in the discussion on port operations and future development is once again available, as the Port of Prince Rupert seeks new members for its local Community Information Forum initiative.

Created in 2014, the Forum offers individuals and organizations in the Prince Rupert area to learn about activities related to the Port and to offer a venue for those participants to offer input on issues of concern.

To join in on the discussion, contact the Port of Prince Rupert at community@rupertport.com, or by letter at 200-215 Cow Bay Road, Prince Rupert BC, V8J 1A2

You are asked to provide a brief synopsis of your interest in membership and current or past involvement in the larger Prince Rupert community.

Past participation has tapped a number of elements of the North Coast including environment groups, Aboriginal representatives, community organizations an un-affiliated members of the general public.

To get an idea as to some of the themes for discussion and engagement of the forum this version of the minutes from June 6th 2018, highlights the nature of the work that the forum explores.

The next meeting for the Forum is Wednesday, January 30th.
