Jr Boys Rainmakers draw Surrey opposition for opening game of BC Provincials

The Charles Hays Junior Boys Rainmakers will tip off against Surrey's  Guildford Park on Saturday when they take to the court at the Langley Events Centre, the Makers' heard word of their opening round competition following last nights Selection.

The Junior Boys Championship takes place from Saturday through to Tuesday at the Langley showcase for sports and a tough list of 22 competing teams makes for this years event.

The Rainmakers will launch their quest for a Provincial banner at 11:30 Saturday morning, their first step in the four day quest for a Provincial banner for the Charles Hays Gymnasium.

The Junior Boys Championship website features more details on the path to the Championship Final of Tuesday evening, while updates to the event can also be found from the tournament twitter feed.

The Junior Boys Basketball Championships will be live streamed by way of Pay per View from the Langley Events Centre, with pricing of $8.50 for a Single Day viewing pass or $24.00 for the full event, details on how to access the feed can be found from the tournament website.

The CHSS twitter feed will also be a helpful source of updates from Langley and from this weekend's Senior Boys Zones tournament taking place at the CHSS Gym.
