Comedy is in the spotlight for the evening, as a trio of Canadian comedians make a pit stop on their current tour, providing a number of different themes tonight at Chances Convention Centre.
Northern life could make for a good portion of the back drop to the evening's entertainment which features the MC work of Tom Bassett who lived in Northern British Columbia prior to launching his comedy career.
As part of his Big Dog comedy tour, he is bringing two fellow members of the Canadian comedy circuit to the North Coast with him, offering up a night of cutting comedy and social observation.
In addition to his duties as a comedy tour organizer and MC, he also has his own comedy routine down, a sample of which is found below:

Comedian and actor Kenny Robinson is part of the roster for tonight, set to offer up his unique perspective on life and politics for the Prince Rupert audience this evening.
Opinionated and at times profane, the veteran of the comedy scene has appeared on CBC Television's the Comics, as well as with appearances on Royal Canadian Air Farce shows of the past.

Shane Clark, a former resident of Prince Rupert makes for the final installment of the trio for tonight. Clark takes a sharp edged look at day to day life, with commentary on a number of themes that audiences will find quite familiar.

Show time at Chances tonight is 8 PM, with an Open Mic session set to take place following the night's entertainment. Tickets cost 20 dollars and are available at Chances on 1st Avenue West.
