City of Prince Rupert urges caution in area of 11th Avenue Rock slide

A minor rock slide on the city's east side has city work crews attending to rock clearance duties along a stretch of 11th Avenue East near Plaza.

The incident which was first reported on Wednesday evening, saw a number of large rocks fall from a cliff side reducing travel on the roadway to one lane.

City crews and local contractors were attending to the scene on Friday, with the city posting a notice for motorists obey all posted traffic signs in the area.
