Trail Adventurers not welcome ... Just yet!

Still Closed! As tempting as it is to explore the new look
of the Rushbrook Trail, the city is asking residents to stay
off the trail until the project is complete

With work getting ever so close to completion on the Rushbrook Trail, many Prince Rupert residents are taking to the walkway for their first glimpse of the new and improved walkway to Seal Cove.

And while the interest in the work is welcome, the City of Prince Rupert is still however advising that for now the Trail is still officially Closed.

The City posted an advisory to their Website on Wednesday making note of the situation and asking for the patience of the public to allow for the project to be completed, adding that as it is at the moment there are a number of safety issues still in place that the public should be aware of.

The Notice from the City did not provide for any update as to when the trail may be open, but when it does the City plans for an official opening.
