Avalanche Control, means Highway delays today from Prince Rupert to Terrace



The Ministry of Transportation is embarking on more avalanche control along Highway 16 day and with that will come delays for those transiting the route between Prince Rupert and Terrace.

Drive BC posted the advisory this morning noting that the work is set to take place from 16 kilometres west of Terrace, to 50 kilometres east of Prince Rupert.

The avalanche control program will run from 9 AM to 4 PM, with delays to traffic expected to exceed 30 minutes.
