Black Ties and Venetian Masquerades the theme for Annual Chamber Gala in two weeks



Dry Cleaners will be working overtime over the next few weeks preparing wardrobes as Prince Rupert's Social Event of the fall nears, with the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce making the final preparations for this years Fall Gala.

The 7th Annual Chamber Fall Gala and Fundraiser take place Saturday, October 19th at the North Coast Hall this years Black Tie affair will take on a Venetian Masquerade theme with the Ball and Auction to start at 7:30 PM, with doors opening one hour previous.

This years highly anticipated event features Live Music with Silver Shadow, along with performances from Wind and Strings (Dan Sklapsky and Kevin Shrusball) as well as the Prince Rupert Middle School Band.

In addition to the great menu selections on the night and the dancing that continues to midnight, the annual auction promises to feature a varied list of items for both live and silent bidding.

Tickets can be reserved today at the Prince Rupert Chamber offices on the main floor of the Capital Mall on Third Avenue West.

The final hours are fast approaching for Early Bird pricing at 80 dollars a ticket, or a table of 8 for $600.

After  October 5th through to the Gala, tickets will be available for $100 each.
