Prince Rupert Port Authority to host Annual Public Meeting and participate in Breakfast Panel on the Prince Rupert Gateway next week

Next week is a big week for the Prince Rupert Port Authority
with two events set to share more news on port activities

While this may be Seafest week in Prince Rupert, next week might best be known as Port Week, with two big Port Authority events to come on June 15 and 17.

The first of the two feature events will be the Annual Prince Rupert Port Authority Annual Public Meeting, which takes place as an in person session for the first time in two years.

This years review will once again feature a range of Port officials to provide an overview of Port activity and glimpse to what's ahead will take place at the Crest Hotel on Wednesday evening at 5PM

The annual review also provides for an update on some of the current projects underway and among those notes will be some anticipation no doubt on the progress for the Fairview Connector road and the Port's plans for additional logistics parks adjacent to both Ridley Island and the Fairview container facility.

Next Friday, the Prince Rupert Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Breakfast gathering which will feature a panel to discuss the theme of Prince Rupert Gateway Supply Chain Resiliency and Innovation

That session to take place at the Crest Hotel as well and is open to the public, it will start at 7:30 AM on Friday.

Among those to speak to the topic will be

Robert Lewis-Manning - President of the Chamber of Shipping,
Ricardo Alvarez - General Manager for DP World Canada,
Rob Booker - CEO of Trigon
Shaun Stevenson - President & Chief Executive Officer Prince Rupert Port Authority

The moderator of the Breakfast panel will be Daphne Thomson of the Prince Rupert and District Chamber of Commerce.

You can keep up to date on any other events of note for the week ahead from the PRPA through their Social media stream.
