Councillor Cunningham's in the Dog House ... and other fund raising tales for the Prince Rupert SPCA

Councillor Barry Cunningham in the Dog House
Will he make bail? will he get Kibble?
It's all up to Prince Rupert and area residents

Today is Lock In for Love day for the BC SPCA and a number of Prince Rupert residents are finding themselves required to report to the Frederick Street Kennels to await their fate.

Prince Rupert City Councillor  Barry Cunningham is among those who has been put behind bard, however as the City of Prince Rupert notes, he was not the only one found at large without proper tags.

With members of the Prince Rupert Fire Rescue service also in the dog Pound and awaiting the required raising of funds to return to their freedom (emergency calls notwithstanding we imagine)

Mr. Cunningham's time as guest of honour is noted below in a video from the City of Prince Rupert.

The City councillor provided a shout out for the event at last week's Prince Rupert City Council session.

The City has posted an archive of photos and video from today's Lock In, to the City of Prince Rupert Facebook page.

You can find out more about event from the BC SPCA Lock in for Love page here, with the running total for the day showing some good success for the initiative.

More notes on today's fundraiser can be followed through the BCSPCA Facebook page.
