The District of Port Edward has offered up a reminder for travellers that repairs to Highway 16 are planned this week near the Butze Rapids area, the District noting that the work is scheduled for Today and tomorrow.

So far, Drive BC has provided any updates for the Butze Rapids stretch of the highway, but a few notes are provided for Highway 16/McBride Street within the city limits, with one note highlighting the current water main replacement project that now stretches from Fourth Street all the way down the hill to Third West.
