City set to coordinate consultation for plans for improvements towards Odd Eidsvik Park

With some community organizers set to seek out some grant opportunities to revitalize some parkland in the Graham and Atlin area of the west side, the City of Prince Rupert is looking to coordinate the hosting duties for a feedback session with residents of the area.

The opportunity to share your input into what amenities you might like to see in Odd Eidsvik Park comes up on Wednesday, January 11th, as part of a 7 PM workshop to be held at City Hall. 

Information collected will be used to seek out grant opportunities for future improvements to the park.

The process of renaming the park area in honour of the long time Rupertite began in June of 2016, the work picking up speed one year after his passing.

Last February a proposal towards improvements for the park first came up for consideration by City Council.

Mr. Eidsvik had a strong connection with community, through his time on City Council and  by way of a large volume of other activities in Prince Rupert.
