An area of water north of Vancouver Island once again was seismically active this afternoon with The USGS listing it at 4.3 mg and Earthquakes Canada observing of a 4.7 earthquake 207 km west of Port McNeil at 5:41 on Monday afternoon.
The event was noted as at a depth of 10 km.
The area has been host to frequent tumblers of similar size through the summer and fall of 2023
The earthquake did not deliver any damage on shore, nor did it generate any tsunami concerns.
