Severe Weather Forecast results in Sailing Cancellation for Northern Expedition
As a strong Pacific Frontal System draws it's eye on the North Coast, BC Ferries has announced that with the adverse weather conditions for the North Coast the 11 PM sailing for Monday evening out of Prince Rupert has been cancelled, as has the 9 AM sailing from Skidegate.
As we outlined earlier today, Environment Canada issued two Weather Alerts for the North Coast for Monday evening and all of Tuesday, calling for rainfall totals of over 120 mm and winds at times exceeding 90 km, the full review can be found here.
Further updates on revised scheduling can be found from the BC Ferries Website.
