Today is Day One of Three days of high tempo volleyball in the Fraser Valley, as the Senior Girls Rainmakers of Charles Hays take on some of the best in the province in the Provincial Championship.
The Rainmakers are in Pool C of the opening day of competition, taking on the challengers from Vancouver's St. Patrick's, Pacific Academy which is based in the Fraser Valley, as well as DP Todd from Prince George.
The Charles Hays Girls take to the Court at 11:30 for their first match up of the day against St. Patrick's, with their remaining games of Thursday set for 3:15 PM against Pacific Academy and an all Northern BC match up at 5:45 PM match up with DP Todd.
The tournament had its semi-official launch on Wednesday night with an 80's theme Banquet/Get together, with the Opening Ceremonies for the Championship set for 10 AM this morning.
The AA Provincial Tournament organizers have plans to offer live streams of some of the action from the three day tournament, you can check here to see the Rainmakers are the featured attraction at the times listed above.
The Provincials Website offers a number of areas to explore including the full draw of all sixteen teams in the competition and how each team has fared through all three days of the tournament.
