Prince Rupert RCMP seek assistance of the public in Missing person Case File

Update: Prince Rupert RCMP have advised that Ms. Charlie has been found safe and sound, with the Mounties having located the missing woman at approximately 1:30 today. They thank the public for their assistance on the case file.

The Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP have put out a call for the help of the public as they seek the whereabouts of 22 year old Johnsy-Joe Charlie, with the Aboriginal female last seen leaving her residence in the 1200 block of Second Avenue West on Friday, March 23rd at approximately 11:30 AM.

Ms. Charlie is approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall has a medium build along with black hair that falls just past her shoulders.

Her family contacted the RCMP to report her absence and have concerns for her safety.

As their work continues on the case file the Prince Rupert detachment issued this information statement late Saturday evening.
