Prince Rupert's Skaters set for Season ending Showcase event Saturday night

Another year of skating for the Prince Rupert Skating Club is about to come to an end, a busy year that saw local skaters polish their craft, develop their skills and compete across the region through the winter months.

Saturday night turns the focus on the Grand Finale to the year, with the annual Ice Show, which brings all levels of Skaters in Performance in front of a large crowd made up of their family, friends and those who love the sport of skating.

Each year brings a new theme to the very popular event and this year takes us out of this world, with LOST IN SPACE making for the backdrop to the night of skating.

The event starts at 7PM at the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre, admission is by a minimum Five Dollar Donation per family.

For those that haven't taken in the even in the past, the annual Ice Show provides a good glimpse of the growing confidence of the young skaters and showcases many of the young athletes who will continue to work their craft to larger success in the years to come.
