Monday's action saw the Seawolves on the ice for two match ups in the 2018 Championship, with Prince Rupert taking on 100 Mile House over the Noon hour, with the Bantams coming out fast out of the gate and cruising through the three periods towards a 10-2 victory .
Six hours or so later they were back on the ice taking on the highly regarded Langley Eagles squad and the night cap to Day Two would provide for some hard hitting play between the two equals, the Seawolves finding their groove towards the end of the first period and carrying through the middle frame and into the third.
Holding to a three goal lead from the second period on, the Rupert squad stood firm in the face off a determined Langley group, shutting down some strong offensive play to secure the 4-1 final and with it a placement in the Wednesday playoff round.
Through the course of their first three games the Prince Rupert Bantams have put 17 markers in the Goals For column, while surrendering only 5 goals in tournament play.
The team has been strong at both ends of the rink, with their offensive game controlling good portions of the play, while the defensive play has been strong along with solid goaltending which has risen to the challenge when called upon.
The Seawolves have one game left in the round robin qualification phase, with a 4 PM game this afternoon against Windermere Valley.
