City of Prince Rupert to seek out assessment of infrastructure along Rushbrook Avenue

The Rushbrook Avenue area may be the next neighbourhood of the city to gain a bit of extra attention from the Operations Department, with the City of Prince Rupert putting out a request for proposals towards a study of the road and other infrastructure along the Avenue on the East side of the city.

The RFP which was posted to the BC Bid website on Thursday provides an overview as to what the city is looking for as part of the stability assessment for the Rushbrook Wall and road.

The services for this Project will comprise the following including, without limiting: 

(i) Complete a stability assessment on the 1700-1900 Blk of Rushbrook Avenue 
(ii) Complete an assessment of the road condition
(iii) Complete an assessment of road drainage 
(iv) Outline any major deficiencies for repair 
(v) Preliminary recommendations to mitigate issues (conceptual) 
(vi) Bid to be submitted as lump sum price

The deadline for proponents to indicate their interest in the review is 2PM on Monday, March 28th

The timeline for completion and presentation of the assessment has a wrap up date of April 30th
