Golf Course looks to reunite golf balls with course fairways (hopefully) as season approaches

Sunny days and eighteen holes are just around the corner
for the Prince Rupert Golf Course membership

Now that the Fairways of the Prince Rupert Golf Course have wrapped up their service as the North Coast Centre for Sledding excellence, the Golf Course membership is once again returning to the plans for the upcoming golf season.

And as he works around the clubhouse these days awaiting tee time for a sunny day, Iain Cullen, the President of the Prince Rupert Golf Club has come up with a plan to make sure that the golf balls of your past, still have a future.

Mr. Cullen's vision was recently shared through the PRGC Facebook page.

As for the season ahead, the Golf Course has now posted the 2021 rates to their website with a full eighteen rounds available for 40 dollars, 25 if you only feel like a tour of nine on the day.

The 2021 Tournament Schedule has still be determined with a note on the website that the events for the year are still subject to COVID regulations.

For those that may have had plans for a road trip this summer, one of the high profile Celebrity events of the region has been scrapped for this year owing to COVID.

With officials with the Smithers Celebrity Golf Tournament sharing word that they have had to cancel the 2021 event owing to the current COVID19 regulations, with work to begin soon with a hopeful eye of a return for 2022.
