Arctic Outflow Warning in place for North Coast - Coastal and Inland areas



Wind chill values of near -20 are anticipated this weekend for the North Coast both on the coast and in inland Areas, with Environment Canada issuing an Arctic Outflow Warning Friday afternoon.

The mass of cold Arctic air will be propelled by accelerating winds of 80 km/hr

The Warning is in place from Saturday to Wednesday

The Warning is in place for areas of the Central Coast as well

The City of Prince Rupert issued an advisory for residents on Friday, noting of the approaching Cold Weather for the region.
