Marine Training program for Lax Kw'alaams planned for February 2023

Members of the Lax Kw'alaams Band who may wish to gain some training towards careers in the Marine industry can take advantage of a training program planned for the community in early February.

The One Week course, which will run from February 6-11, will offer training in the following: 

Small Vessel Operator Proficiency
ROC-M Restricted Operator Certificate Maritime
SDV-BS Domestic Vessel Basic Safety

Instruction will take place at the Elder's Lodge on Church Avenue in Lax Kw'alaams.

The program is part of the Pre Employment Support Program and is in partnership with Tricorp.
