Ellis Ross retains critics role for Energy and LNG as BC Liberals reveal shadow cabinet posts

With Premier David Eby rolling out his new cabinet earlier the week, BC Liberal Leader Kevin Falcon has  outlined which members of the Liberal caucus will be tasked to keep a watch over the Ministries, with Skeena MLA Ellis Ross holding fast with a familia post for him.

As part of yesterday's BC Liberal posties, Mr., Falcon returned Mr. Ross to his duties as the critic for Energy and LNG issues in the province.

The Liberal leader noting of the growth in size for the Eby cabinet and the duties of the Liberals to ensure that the NDP government is held to account.

“While the NDP may have anointed a new Premier and grown the size of Cabinet, British Columbians still haven’t seen things improve after continued NDP inaction on the important issues facing people in every corner of our province.

Our BC Liberal Caucus remains committed to holding them to account for that lack of action in areas like healthcare, affordability, and public safety, all while continuing to push government for bold responses to the various crises we must collectively tackle.

As the Official Opposition, we have a responsibility to make sure David Eby and the NDP are held accountable for their decisions in government and I’m excited to name new opposition shadow ministers today to do just that."

Mr. Falcon's full statement on the new shadow cabinet can be reviewed here.

The Skeena MLA was quick to his work on Thursday, making note of a pair of energy related issues towards how he views the approach the BC government is taking on energy themes.
