Cram A Cruiser Day at Canada Safeway to help with Salvation Army Christmas programs

Prince Rupert and area residents can help out the Salvation Army Today as the Prince Rupert RCMP, Rainbow Chrysler and Canada Safeway host the Second Annual Cram A Cruiser event, with the Canada Safeway parking lot the place to be from 10 AM to 3PM.

The five hour opportunity to lend a hand will see all donations given to the Salvation Army to be distributed to people in need in the community.

Non-Perishable Food items and toys are welcome to help make this Christmas season a little bit brighter.

For the youngsters, and fans of fuzzy mascots everywhere, The RCMP Safety Bear has taken a Saturday shift to join in on the fun.

As we noted back in November, the first year event proved to be a popular project, though it caught the organizers a little flat footed as people wanted to donate cash, but they weren't set up last year for that.

This year they have plans to make sure that a Salvation Army Kettle is on hand for those that want to contribute towards the Christmas plans ahead.
