Santa's Helpers in Lax Kw'alaams are getting some extra time to get some shopping done in the Northwest prior to the big day,
The Spirit of Lax Kw'alaams Holiday schedule has been released in anticipation of a busy week ahead of transit between the community and Prince Rupert and beyond.
The seasonal schedule one which takes effect as of this Friday.
There will be three departures daily from Arrow Point or Tuck Landing until the 23rd, just one sailing on the 24th and no sailings scheduled for Christmas Day.
The Marine Transportation System returns to its regular schedule on the 26th
