City charts road closures owing to ongoing water repair work

Providing that the City doesn't run out of them ...
Travellers  around Prince Rupert will be finding many detour signs
in place today as city crews continue to address water line
repair issues around the community

If you're travelling around the city today, you may want to check in with the City of Prince Rupert's information streams to see if where you are going to is facing any road closures today.

The City has been busy updating their list of Road Closures this morning with two more such notices issued by 9:30 this morning.

They make for companion notes to advisories yesterday that Crestview Drive, Applewhaite Drive, a portion of 7th Avenue East and First Avenue East, east of Pacific Mariners Park are all closed to traffic.

Today's advisories so far include closures on Jamaica and a portion of Fifth Avenue East.
