Whether it's nothing but net, a bank shot off a backboard or a ball that circles the rim a few times before dropping ... a chance to shoot some hoops and raise some funds for Rotary and the CHSS Rainmakers Interact Club incoming up this month.
That as both groups hail the return of the Hoop-a-Thon coming up on April 22nd.
Rotarians have been spreading the word of the event which has a goal of $6,500 dollars for participants to shoot for. All funds that are collected will be split 50/50 between the Rotarians and the CHSS club.
One local luminary getting ready to get some practice shots in before the Charles Hays Gym event of the 22nd of this month is North Coast MLA Jennifer Rice.
You might see the MLA around town over the next few weeks taking some three pointers at local parks and playgrounds to get her mechanics down before the event.
