March is Fraud Awareness month, and as the volume of unknown callers arrive on your phone its a timely reminder of the work of scammers to take advantage of the Tax filing season to try and separate us from our money.
Northern Savings, the Prince Rupert based financial institution has relayed some helpful information for residents of the region towards those long distance scam artists noting how Revenue Canada would never ask for any payment by way of text messaging.
