Prince Rupert RCMP seek public's assistance on Cow Bay Robbery/Assault case file

The Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP is turning to the public for some help when it comes to capturing a suspect in an alleged robbery/assault at a Cow Bay commercial location.

In a statement from the Mounties today, the RCMP outlined the nature of events at  Cow Bay Cannabis this past Monday.

Around lunch time on Monday March 18th the Prince Rupert RCMP received a call from Cow Bay Cannabis on Cow Bay Road that a theft had just occurred. 

Upon attendance the investigating officer discovered that the suspect not only stole items from the store he also assaulted the employee. 

"We are asking that anyone who may recognize the man from his unique clothing come forward and speak with police. The public's assistance is a key part of advocating for victims of crime and ensuring public safety." -- Prince Rupert Media relations Constable Brody Hemrich 

The Mounties don't have much to go on when it comes to the suspect, other than the nature of the clothing that he wore at the time.

The suspect is described as: 
 
A young male; slim build; 5'10 
Wearing a black and blue Nike pullover hoodie 
Red and black pajama pants; and Work boots 

Included in the RCMP statement are some photos, captured from the security cameras at the Cannabis store offer up the visuals.
