The second season for the latest attraction on the Prince Rupert waterfront will launch on May 1st, the date for the return of the Lax Süülda Container market, the marketplace one which spans the promenade from the Prince Rupert Cruise Terminal to the Atlin Terminal.
The introduction of the repurposed containers as a marketplace, was a well received addition to the tourism options available to visitors and residents alike during 2023.
Tourism Prince Rupert provided for a few details towards what would be vendors need to know about the space available for the season ahead.
Daily market tables are booked on cruise call days with more than 500 passengers.
Market table vendors are required to operate their market table from 11am to 2pm.
Each market table is a $30 CAD+GST fee (includes table and chair).
