Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach salutes players, organizers and Nisga'a Hosts on success of ANJBT



As the week long celebration of the All Native Junior Basketball Tournament comes to a close today, the participants, organizers and host Nisga'a Nation have been saluted in the House of Commons.

Skeena-Bulkley Valley MP Taylor Bachrach, highlighted the gathering in Terrace this week as part of the Statements period for the House of Commons in Ottawa.

The Member of Parliament relayed for the House, how the Terrace event is one of the largest gatherings of youth in Canada, recounting the Nisga'a led opening ceremonies and hailing the work of all involved in putting together the event and the spirit it builds.

"Young people are the future, and the cooperation and unity that I saw at this tournament shows that the future is in very good hands, I want to wish the very best of luck to all the players heading to the finals this afternoon" -- MP Taylor Bachrach
