Prince Rupert's Old Timers take to the ice this weekend for Carlo Paolinelli Memorial Tournament



Three days of action hit the ice of the Jim Ciccone Civic Centre this weekend as Prince Rupert's Oldtimers welcome teams from across the Northwest for the 20th edition of the Carlo Paolinelli Memorial Tournament.

Three divisions are set for the tournament which wraps up on Sunday, with players in women's, men's and the 50 plus divisions all set for the friendly competition to come.

Sixteen teams have signed up to take part, the tickets to the tournament are free from any member of the league, or you can drop into the Civic Centre over the course of tonight, Saturday and Sunday to take in the Oldtimers  action.

The weekend includes the Saturday night Social at the Civic Centre with Triple Bypass providing for the night's entertainment.

The 20th anniversary edition of the tourney is hosted by the Prince Rupert Old Timer Hockey League, information about this years tourney can be found here.
