RCMP seek the assistance of the public in locating missing Prince Rupert Man

The Prince Rupert detachment of the RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public in locating a 26 year old Prince Rupert man, Adam Moore.

Mr. Moore was last seen in the city on December 29th at 3:15 AM at the local 7-11, with other reports suggesting that he may have driven to Terrace, however that information has not been verified by the RCMP.

The request for assistance was made to the RCMP in the late afternoon of December 31st, at which time a Missing Person's file was created and the investigation commenced.

Mr. Moore is described as being 6 feet tall with a slim build, approximately 176 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

His vehicle is a Black 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, with a British Columbia licence plate of 517 NIV

Mr. Moore's family and friends are very concerned for his whereabouts and any information that may assist in locating him should be directed to the Prince Rupert RCMP at 250-627-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Update Jan 2/2014: Prince Rupert RCMP and Search and Rescue teams from Terrace were involved in a search along the Highway 16 corridor through the day on Thursday in search of further signs of Mr. Moore.
