It's a lofty quest for volunteers for Seafest, thanks to Ocean Pacific Air

Take your volunteer experience at Seafest to a higher level, with a chance
to win one of six seats with Ocean Pacific Air for Sunday's Fly Past

If you can spare a few hours on the ground for Seafest Friday and Saturday, your Sunday could be spent up in the Air as part of a prize to be offered by Ocean Pacific Air to help drum up some support for Prince Rupert's annual community event.

With Seafest only a couple of weeks away, organizers have put out their annual call for volunteers to help keep the festival running smoothly during its three days, whether it be with the downtown events on Saturday or on the waterfront on Sunday.

This year, Ocean Pacific Air, the Seal Cove based float plane service has taken the lead in helping out the Prince Rupert Special Events Society by offering up six seats in one of their planes for a spectacular overhead view of the Sunday events and all that is required to qualify for the draw for your spot on the plane is to spend some time helping out with the Seafest events.

Those that have their names drawn will be part of the Annual Seafest Fly Past and will have one of the best views of the waterfront activity that Prince Rupert has to offer.

You can find out more about the volunteer opportunities available for this years event by contact The Prince Rupert Special Events Society at 250-624-9118.  or send them an email at prspecialevents@citywest.ca
