Blog Watching: Week ending May 12, 2019

With everyone it seems now attached to their phones like a life line, it was interesting to note the fast and full reaction to our notes on what will be a new player in the cel phone market for Prince Rupert, with Communications topping our list of five most read blog items for the week just ended.

Also picking up some strong readership levels over the last seven days were our notes on a just completed strike vote by members of the ILWU up and down the port cities of British Columbia.

Two other items captured the attention of readers this week was our look at  one of Prince Rupert's most well known buildings that is now up for sale, while readers also found much interest in our review of the re-emergence of a number of newspaper boxes for the weekly paper.

Civic politics also carved out some space in the top five, as readers explored out notes on the North Central Local Government convention which just wrapped up in Williams Lake.

However the top story of the week found readers ready to learn more about Freedom Mobile and their upcoming plans for the Prince Rupert area.
