Mobile phone users currently reviewing their plans will want to pull out a pad and paper (or use the calculator on your phone) to do a comparison between the present and the future, with Freedom Mobile set to make its entry into the Prince Rupert market.
The cellular phone service that is owned by Shaw Communications is in the midst of an extensive roll out of Freedom Mobile with Alberta and Ontario communities having been added to the list in recent months.
In a social media blitz this morning, Freedom Mobile made note of their summer expansion plans for British Columbia, with Prince Rupert, Prince George and Nanaimo set to join the network,
The push from Alberta, Ontario and into BC, will add 1.3 million more Canadians to the list of those who will have the opportunity to explore their service options.
The Big selling point for the service appears to be their Big Gig Data package, with 10GB available for 50 dollars.
