Prince Rupert RCMP and Partners to host Safe Boating Day at Rushbrook

With the May Long weekend marking our countdown towards summer, the Prince Rupert RCMP will be looking to reinforce safety on the water this weekend, hosting Safe Boating Day at Rushbrook Floats this Sunday May 19th.

Members of the RCMP will be conducting complementary vessel safety inspections and other safety related demonstrations as part of the four hour event Sunday from 10 AM until 2 PM.

Other partners in safety will be at Rushbrook as well to demonstrate their capabilities on the water and to answer any questions from the public.

The Mounties outlined the plans for the day through this information release
